Dive Sites
PLAYA FLAMINGO
This is our House reef. This dive is impressive because of its simplicity and because of the quantity and variety of the schools of fish present there. You will get unbeatable visibility on the outside of the breakwater the majority of the year in this area. We can enjoy schools of bastard grunt, barracudas, salema, striped seabream, bogue, sand smelt, sardines and tuna that swim along the coast. The white sand serves as a hiding place for spotted torpedo, angel sharks and spiny butterfly ray, which is why we should not forget to look for their silhouette at the bottom.

TIMANFAYA REEF
Timanfaya Reef is a very simple and pleasant dive site. Diving starts close to the Timanfaya Hotel, exactly from the nearby beach. Then we follow the reef until we come to Playa Flamingo where we finish our adventure. The dive is not tiring because during the swim we are accompanied by a soft current which pushes us to the Flamingo. Timanfaya Reef due to its simplicity and the number and variety of shoals of fish that occur will enchant most of you. During this trip we can find rays, sardines, barracuda and angel sharks. LA CATEDRAL (PUERTO DEL CARMEN)
This is one of the most popular dives in Lanzarote and it might be because inside the cave called Catedral (Cathedral) lives the most famous animal on the island, the big dusky grouper that local divers call Felix. This dive is comfortable and very complete; there are vertical walls to search for hidden life, immense cliffs where stingrays and angel sharks can be observed, caves with all types of fauna and even a small wreck if you are interested in getting close to it.

AGUJERO AZUL (PUERTO DEL CARMEN)
This is one of the most famous dives in Puerto del Carmen, maybe because of the adventure factor that it offers. The Agujero Azul (Blue Hole) is a tunnel that connects the sandy shallow area to the cliff that descends into stunning depths. Practically every animal can be seen on this dive, from sea horses all lined up at the bottom to angel sharks and large stingrays; some lucky divers may even encounter the majestic manta rays. CHARCO DEL PALO
This is a very good dive option when there are poor ocean conditions to the southwest. This spot is notable for its purely volcanic rocky landscape, sprinkled with white sand. There is an excellent sample here of many of the Canary ecosystems within a very small space. On the high part, the rocky bottom is covered in a colorful carpet of seaweed. Below 10 m, the Diadema urchin has created extensive urchin-grazed barrens, –rocks without algal covering named in Spanish as “blanquizal”- and the rocks, before they disappear into the fields of sand, tend to form cliffs and caves. Black coral forests
only accessible by trained divers grow below 40-50 m.
